Plymouth Rock thread!

Hi all

I took some pics of my spprs today and these are on another thread called "Surviving Winter Well" in the Managing your flock section. Hope you enjoy.

I am not either and didn't mean to come off that way... sorry.

It is such a sweet bird, very calm runs from 'cock fights' in the coop. I noticed the black wash on the front as well. This isn't a pure barred rock so that may be skewing things? it does have THE longest neck I think I've ever had before.

What about the waddles... none of the 'confirmed' pullet have waddles yet but they're a different variety.

I'm leaning toward cockeral......55 cockeral 45 pullet based on looks. My pullets are more fluffy.. this one's feathering is TIGHT. Does that say anything?

The red in the waddles is what makes me think roo. Yes the fact that is not pure my skew things. BUT I still see a roo

This and the blue colombian are THE sweetest ones of the entire group.

Speaking of the blue colombian, she is turning into a beautiful bird.

I think it's time to bring this thread back to life. I've got 16 Stukel line Barred Rock eggs in the incubator from Speckledhen, only on day 3. Temps and humidity are holding perfect. I'll let ya'll know what's happening when I candle on day 10.
