Eggs are from BYC er Chooks Chick and she sent them to me in a "hens choice" auction. So excited!!!

What did she use to introduce the Choc?

I have 2 barred rocks in my young flock, both were straight run and its looking like I have 1 female and 1 male. unless I can build a sound proof coop and run the male is going to be dinner eventually. They are the friendliest birds in the flock so far and love to eat from my hand. often grabbing from my left hand that holds the bugs and worms when I try to feed with my right. The one I assume is a male has crooked toes and I am not sure if that's normal but the bird seems to do fine scratching and walking. I also noticed that they eat slugs which is a benefit to my nursery.

Thanks MKK - I think our standards over here are pretty close to yours.
