Plymouth Rock thread!

thanks so much everyone for your input. this is so hard to make a decision, so now at least i have alot of different ways to look at it. thankyou again, this is awesome. julie

Here is a variety of Plymouth Rock rarely seen in the USA. This is my cockbird (from 2012 hatch) that I am currently keeping with my flock. He weighs just a tad over 10lbs and is a great improvement over his grandfather who was the male in my original trio. He is the sire to about 50% of the chicks I've hatched this year

You have done a great job with them!
 
ok we have SPPR from DIEFLY and our oldest Roo is very slow to mature is this normal for a SPPR I have had rocks but they were hatchery stock Barred Rocks and White Rocks. Just unsure?

Not 100% but I know in my BR the slow feathering makes the barring better.... same with my Wyandottes.... the better the pattern the SLOWER the growth.
