Fred, BTW - I love the pullet in the very first set of pix.....very niceYup. A New Year's chick must eat to stay warm. A Fire Cracker chick has to deal with heat. Most breeders I know pen up in December and break up in May or earlier, for this and other reasons.
How about some photos of your "Rockingtons"...My splash Plymouth Rock/buff Orpington hybrids are starting to get feathers in! The roosters have buff-shouldered wings with blue tips and creamy light-buff breasts with blue speckles!![]()
