Looking nice!! I like the last male best of all the ones pictured.

Keep in mind (unless I read the standard incorrectly) that the penciling should be "U" shape (or rounded) not "V" shaped. BUT.....ya gotta build the bard before you can paint it. Please be sure to post some profile shot of the pullets and tail shots too.....watch those pinched tails
 
I posted a question about hatching and the time of year one does it. Does it matter?

Yup. A New Year's chick must eat to stay warm. A Fire Cracker chick has to deal with heat. Most breeders I know pen up in December and break up in May or earlier, for this and other reasons.

Hi Yard Full of Rocks
The Standard calls for the penciling to conform to the contour of the feather. Here is a picture out of theAmerica Standard of Perfection page 26. As you can see not all the penciling is rounded.
