my husband has more shoe than I do....we had to go buy a shoe rack for him TODAY lol.


Why do you trim spurs? I have not really see a need.

A man only needs five pairs of shoes.  Black and Brown dress shoes for church, a good pair of sneakers for walking/running, mud boots for working on the farm and snow boots for winter.  

he has 2 sets of tennis shoes and 2 pair of each. 2 pair of church shoes work boots and something else.....8 pair that he uses regularly. I know he has more in the closet unless he gave them away.

This morning I discovered that my poor white rock had a broken blood feather. The poor dear just can't catch a break. She has been going through a LONG hard molt and still laying like a champ, but all the protein in the world isn't growing those feathers back fast enough. Anyways, she came in for a bath and to have the feather shaft removed. She is now recovering the ordeal with some yogurt and sunflower seeds. When she goes out later she'll be sporting a new apron that covers her tail (blood stains white feathers - boo).

Fastest way to clean that is to soak a cotton ball with hydrogen peroxide. It fizzles the blood right out. What it doesn't get, just throw dirt on to disguise it.
