Here are a few pictures I had to get them loaded your children didn't like me caging them but they are all banded now but I didn't weight them it was stinking hot I figured enough stress with the other stuff

here is why I like my cages to compare with since I'm new at this poultry thing these two birds are the same age both from breeders I wish I could find some New Hampshires like my Penciled Rocks this baby is from Ugly Ducky and I think he's looking pretty fine

Thanks Wynette I've decided that large fowl should be started on a higher protein so since these were hatched with turkeys anyways they've been on the turkey starter I see a big difference in feathering and growth after 3 months they can go back to 20%. I'm just happy that I didn't loose any with the terrible heat we had now it freezing cold going to rain....I have one of the pullets who likes to fly up on my arm she's got to stop before she gets big but it's cute right now....
 
We have Blue Plymouth Rock babies!! Six out of seven of Halo's BPR's have hatched. There is no movement or peeping from the last one, but I will wait a little while before taking it out. Two are much darker than the others - what does that mean for their coloring?

Pictured below are my Barred Plymouth Rocks, I was wondering how to tell roo or hen by age/color and comb. Could anyone tell me which mine are at 5 weeks of age???
