Plymouth Rock thread!

Here are my 22 week old Barred Rocks. My girls had some dark wash on the legs as youngsters, but have lost that as they matured:

Thanks, Cheryl, though I cannot take any credit except for the hatching and raising of them. I'm very pleased. Now, waiting impatiently for eggs. Rex is now crowing and up to FOUR syllables, LOL. Also, he's starting to mate the girls, even trying to dance a bit.
 
I've just culled out my silver pencils. They are 5 1/2 months now and these are my keepers for breeding. I went over the flock with a California judge and he thought these were the best. Obviously they need to fill out, but I'm happy that these are heavier and have a better back line than the first trio I was working with. My favorite is my white banded hen. What do you guys think? (Sorry I don't have a great picture of the roo)
