Cheryl, your spprs are truly beautiful too.

I was really lucky to have picked this breed when I decided to get a few chickens last summer (2010). They are so people-friendly and beautiful. I wish there were more breeders in my area.

And halo, I think Dark Brahmas have very similar feathering; however the spprs don't have feathers on the legs and feet.

yes dark brahmas and partridge & silver penciled Wyandotte ( I don't believe they exist here (but could be wrong!-not a wyandotte expert) have the same.

In person it is really striking
