Plywood Floor?

My coop, intalled this past May, is a converted shed with a plywood floor. I toyed with different floor ideas, such as paint and linoleum. Finally, I decided to just put use an extra layer of 1/2" treated plywood and nailed it down. The bedding is deep-litter pine shavings. So far it has worked great. If the floor ever gives out (which is doubtful), it will be easy to lift up the plywood and install a new layer.

I used plain old automotive bondo to seal the gaps in the concrete board. It is as strong as anything I know, and it bonds to concrete board as well as mortar. I painted it yesterday with the garage floor paint and it turned out looking pretty good...the paint itself was enough to fill much of the slight gap...
