Point of egg in the incubator UP or DOWN

do you mean just set them in the incubator and leave them with no futher action? if so no you have to turn the eggs at least 3 times a day as a hen does turn the eggs when she sits on the. if you dont have the time to turn them then get an atuo turnner and the pointy end needs to be down.

im having a dilema with a friend hes stubborn that the point end up and im like no its other way around can u plz clarify why its always pointy end down

Welcome to BYC. The reason for the positioning of the egg is in regard to the location of the air cell within the egg - which is located at the round/wide end of the egg.
ETA - an alternative approach is to position the eggs on their side.

My incubator has incredibly good incubation success. I will put a few eggs in upside down and leave them that way throughout incubation on my next set.

Incubation troubleshooting information shows that malpositions with death occurring after pip and prior to hatch are common with "upside down" eggs, as are embryonic deformities. These are the same conditions that are listed for eggs that are not turned enough during incubation.

so does the chick die if air sac is in the bottom?"
The air cell doesn't go to to the bottom. It forms at the rounded in and by placing them upright it keeps the yolk centered, the air cell at the top where it belongs instead of pushed against the yolk (which is how it would be displaced in an inverted position). Having the rounded end up helps the chick position correctly for hatch. If a chick does not position itself correctly there are greater occurances for malepositioned chicks.

Typo...
