I am a relatively new chicken keeper, and I was wondering what everyone's experience is with chickens eating poisonous plants? I let my girls forage in my backyard, and I keep them out of the area where I have a really poisonous plant (Brugmansia), but I am wanting to plant some daffodils, and I know they are poisonous too. Does anybody's chickens eat daffodils? If so, the outcome?

I have lots of daffodils, the only thing the deer and rabbits don't eat, have had chickens for 2 yrs didn't know daffodils were on the poison list. I have had no problems

Mine dig around under the brugs and haven't had an issue. Elephant ears keep coming up inside the pen and they don't touch them either. I have to keep digging them out. I figure they must know what to eat and what not to....although they don't like turnips...northern chickens maybe?
