Polish breeding question

I think NatJ covered gold and silver laced. It’s a bit more complicated with the buff laced and wcb.
Buff laced will actually give you buff laced... with black specks in the lacing... when crossed with tolbunt.
White crested black crossed with the tolbunt will give you black... with some gold lacing... with some mottling. Nicalandia theorized that white crested black was on the mottling genome. I believe it’s recessive to mottled? But I could be wrong.

I am garbage with "fad", non-accepted color varieties. I'm such a grumpy elitist. I have a friend that sent me pics of his five Tolbunt Polish and I couldn't say anything nice about them. Not one of them were consistent in color or pattern.

I'm glad to see @NatJ and @Amer have popped in. I believe @Overo Mare and @The Moonshiner were discussing Tolbunt in another breed. And @nicalandia is a genetic whiz.

I’m also a grumpy elitist. Can’t do English Orpingtons. XD

I do raise Tolbunts, White Crested black, splash and blue, Gold Laced, and Candy Corn polish. Currently building a flock of bantam polish. Thank you, @sourland!
