That's a good excuse to go out and sit with them.

Yes, but not far into the evening or through the night. Their coop is just a sleeping coop, and not big enough for me too! Lol

Oh those ‘barn cams’, very addictive aren’t they?! And sometimes one actually sees something other than sleeping chooks and horses

I had the Littles coop cam on for half an hour straight yesterday while they settled, just for the sound track alone!

I was also periodically checking where they situated themselves in case it was too warm or too cold…whether on the heating pad or off, and whether it was easy enough to make the switch. They all started on it, all bunched together, and then moved off. Later on one was back on it completely, and one had just their head all stretched out on it.

Oh, believe me, "muggy" is used in the US as well, especially in the Southeast.

In Newfoundland we call it mauzy (maw-zee). One would say ‘it’s right mauzy out there today’.

Of course in Newfoundland it rarely ever gets over 30C maybe once a yr. Maybe a bit more in the interior. So for me unless it’s above 20C I just think of it as damp.

So, I named my SLW
Tinsel- she's more white breasted

And Glitter...I thought those names went together well.

But I love Lacy for my curly feathered LO.
