Polish Chick with Poof Problem.

Hi y'all
I have a 6 week old polish chick that I think has an eye/poof problem. Her poof is leaning so heavily on one side that she can hardly see, and there is some slight bruising.
the opposite side has most of the poof

This is the other side.

Same side, just lifting up the poof to see the eye lid


Any thing that I can do?

No, I believe that because of the extra weight of the poof it is causing the eyelid to fold where it isn't supposed to.

Hmmm...I'd suggest a bobby pin to help hold things up, but I'd be afraid if it came out that some chickie might try to eat it?

Well I have about 36 chicks of two ages in the same pen so.. that probably won't be a good idea, but I might be able to get it a little wet tomorrow and try to shape it to the other side?

Ah, I looked into it (I have four polish in my brooder right now), and you can actually use tape (masking, painter's, etc) or a hair tie to get their crest out of their eyes.
