Polish crested with injured beak?

I noticed a couple days ago that one of our polish had what looked like blood on their beak. Does anyone have any idea what could be going on with the poor little thing? Not sure what I even do, would I take it to a regular old veterinarian?

Think it's just coloring. Mine have dark nostrils too

It could just be coloring as stated. If it's not, she probably just got in a squabble with a hen or two. It doesn't look real serious, and if she's eating and drinking then everything should be ok and it'll heal up soon

Thanks for the input, I just wanted to make sure they're ok and not suffering.

Well she's obviously eating! I don't think she's suffering! Shes very beautiful! There is something strange on her beak could have just happened in a squabble with another hen.

It's the wattle. Looks like yours is a bearded polish. How old? I'm thinking it might be a cockerel and that's why you're seeing the coloring appear on this one and not the others.

Since you two know polish, what are your thoughts? I don't see anything concerning. Just wattles from what I can see.

Closer up pictures of the spot would help. He is a cockerel (unless it’s hair is just wet).
