We're trying to make Black Sultans with White Crested Black polish crossed with Sultans, getting closer!

This is a keeper we call Darlin cuz she's soooooooooooooooooooooooo sweet! She is 98% black! Lil white strip across back of head, that's it!

Out of curiosity and because I had room in the incubator I hatched an egg our of our white crested black Roo with a Silver Hamburg hen.
She is all black with a mohawk for a crest. Small like the Hamburg, I call her Little Crow. Her beak, her legs, her eyes are all black.
Really interesting. Thought I had a pic - can't find it, I will get another so you can see.

sorry it has taken so long to reply to this thread. Here are a few pic's of 'Little Crow', my Spangled Hamburg, Whitte Crested black Polish cross. She is as cute as she can be.
I will probably keep her, altho' I didn't intend to. It was just an experiment, but now I am quite attached to her.

Looks just like one we had, it was a pure WCB polish but had no white and no crest, well, very little...Looked like a crow mated one of our hens! LOL That's Elvis behind her, "thank ya very much"...

She does look exactly like my 'Lil Crow'! so, you are saying yours was pure WCP? How does that happen. What does it throw back to?
I am hoping mine lays as well as her mum, the Spangled Hamburg.
