Polish crosses.... lets see them

We're trying to make Black Sultans with White Crested Black polish crossed with Sultans, getting closer!

If you put a silver laced OR Golden laced with a White Crested black you will get a solid black.
A friend of mine has a golden lace roo with silver laced, WCB hens And 1 solid black from last years hatch.
She has had several solid blacks and the others are sexlinked, From the GL + SL cross, GL are roos, SL are pullets!! I got some eggs from her to hatch and sadly lost all the blacks before hatch. (My error :/ )4 were solid and 1 was marked like a penguin.
Could you do this to produce your solid blacks then cross them with the sultans?!

Back to the polish cross thread:
I have a Golden polish/RIR cross.
Golden Polish hen + RIR Rooster
It is only almost 3 weeks old now.

I also have cochin/polish cross is the bator.
Golden lace Cochin hen + Golden lace or Silver lace Polish Roo
Def excited for these to hatch!

I have white polish crossed with Welsummer in the incubator right now. I will post pics when they hatch... Due on the 15th.

Here are my crosses. White polish moms, Welsummer dads. At two days, they don't appear to have top hats, but the lighter one does seem to have a beard. The gray was not expected..Suprised me.

Are you sure the moms aren't Splash colored hens? Those chicks look blue to me.

According to egg I've read resultant chicks should have been white. White Polish are dominant white.

I have two Polish hens. Both are white as white. Body and head. I only have one breed of rooster, Welsummer. Their chicks hatched blue. That's all I know. Cute little tiny things.

Does the Polish crest pass on to offspring?

Does the Polish beard pass on to offspring?

This is my 6 week old "Fancy Nancy" She is full blood, but I have some SLW and BLRW roos that I would like to cross on her and see what that cross would make.

If my cream brabanter lucky turns out to be a girl, I'm going to breed her with my white crested blue polish rooster. I plan to breed him with baby my silkie Brahma cross also.
