help! My shipped Polish/Poland eggs arrived today and, after candling, one has a completely detached air cell. I've heard it might be possible to hatch it in an incubator if I keep it round end up, pointed side down, which I want to try.
problem is, I can't tell which end is which! Can anyone help? Or does it not even matter, can I just pick an end or does it have to be the rounder wider end up??

I went with the end with the writing up, but after three days in the incubator it started to ooze on the outside of the shell so I cracked it today. No development. I wonder why it oozed so early? I never had much hope for it.

They were eBay eggs packaged in styrofoam. It seemed to be oozing from the pores as there were no visible cracks.
