Polish hens not laying

We have a polish hen and 2 of her offspring have not laid. The mother may be slightly due to getting her crest back after the other hens plucking her and it's her first molt, even though she hasn't lost many feathers but a couple other hens have already, and since replaced. Her 2 daughters are wyandotte mixed but their half siblings, through father, have already laid a first egg at least 2 months ago. All the newest hens squat, too. We had an issue with the mother not laying her eggs a year ago and (though we found her secret stash last time, we are 100% sure there isn't one this time) we thought it was calcium that was the issue since when we added that to her diet she laid in the coop often. With protein being added to their diet for feathers this season, we still haven't had any eggs from those 3. Are these 3 just calcium deficient? We've had chickens for years now and it's only with these guys are we having egg issues. Love them though. Goofy.

In my experience, Polish and Polish crosses are just not prolific layers. I doubt that it has anything to do with your husbandry paractices.

I understand they aren't bred for eggs and more for looks. Are there no worries about health then?

If they are eating, drinking, and pooping normally, I would not worry.

Polish are often seasonal layers. When the days start getting longer they should start up again.

Update: One of them laid. Of course one of them would right when I questioned them.
