Looks like a colored version of my white Polish mutt. What a cutie!

Good news!!! She's a girl!! I caught her on a clutch of Wilson golf balls and one cream colored pristine little egg....no I forgot to take a picture-i was too excited! I took her egg and she settled right back on the golf balls all happy and proud! And upon research-she is a Brabanter chicken! I'm sure that's just a fancy name for a polish cousin or something!! Time for a new avatar of her!

Brabanters are crested relatives of the Polish, but the crest is much smaller. You should be proud, they're so pretty!


Now I just need to find out what mine is...

She's definately part polish. do you have a pic from the side?

I'll see if I can get one tomorrow. She's skittish around the camara but very mean to the other birds. We think her sister is part Leghorn. The people we got her from have one black (mixed with other bands of color) Polish roo and one GL Polish hen. Lots of variety in their flock.

My girl has been my favorite from the start-I think it's because she looks and acts like "Beaker" on the Muppets-Me me me!!
