Crele should be a multicolored barred look, and have no lacing. Yours have lacing, almost as if a gold laced bird was crossed with, well, I don't know what. They're very pretty, but if they're Crele - They're a work in progress.
Thing is in polish, thats pretty much what a crele looks like, yes needs a little less lacing and a little more barring, but they dont look like the standard form of crele, largely because there is no duckwing version of a polish chicken to work with on them.
I got mine from Jim Parker and they were better than those in pattern, but pretty much the same over all look, just less lacing.
They will never look like old english creles....If any of you have one that does, I want it!! LOL
Humm, seems to me that just because it hasn't been made yet in Polish doesn't mean that something only slightly similiar can be made and be called the same name. If it isn't crele, it needs a different name.
I know, but tell that to the silkie people and their porcelains!! They look nothing like a porcelain chicken but still get called that.
Now the above bird is lacking the proper barring, but that's pretty much what a crele polish is a barred laced bird. That's just what the polish community named it, not me...
