Does anyone belong to the Polish Breeders Club? How long did it take you to be a member? Not the paid membership, just the regular free one. I tried to join about 4 days and my account is still pending approval. I'm trying to be patient
How long does it normally take for a sq WCB bantam polish to lay? Mine is almost 9 months and still no egg. Is it normal to take this long. She definitely isn't hiding them and I don't think she is molting. What is the longest anyone has had one go before laying. I see all these people complaining that there chicken is 20 wks and hasn't laid an egg. I wish. I wasn't even this impatient for my first chickens to start laying.

blue x silver, F1's will be all blue, breed those back to the silver laced and you will eventually get blue laced silver (can use a splsh for this too)
gold laced to splash, (same as above) best to use blue or splash males if possible
black to buff, just gone be more blacks as f1's, breed back to the buff, and get 75% balck still with a few new buff and a few odd ball colors
Chickenzoo, I love your polish they are beautiful. If you don't mind me asking. Could you tell me the dimensions of one of your individual breeder setups and how many you keep in it? I love the way you have it set up and I am getting a pair of gold sebrights on Sunday that I would like to put in a breeder setup. Mine unfortunately wouldn't be able to be up higher due to the cold, but the main design would still probably work for me. Also are they standard or bantam? They kind of look standard to me. My single bantam girl definitely looks smaller.

Thanks, yes I have both Standard & Bantam, although I have sold off most of my Standards to considerate on my Bantams. Some of those were old pics, where a few Standards were shoved in the bantam pens until their pens could be built, LOL. For my Bantams I have a 24 X 20 bantam barn, up off the ground. In winter I can close it off with billboard tarps from the weather. Each pen is aprox. 2 ft by 8 ft long. 12 pens on each side with a walk way down the middle of the barn. the walk way extends out and down on each side are 8X8 pens for my larger chickens on the ground.
