When we were on our way home from Washington to pick up the pair we got from cmsdvm we stopped at a Coastal Supply because my family raves on and on about how cool it is. I was looking at some boots and my DD walked up to me and this is what happened:
Paige: "MOM!!! They have chicks here! Can we PLEASE get some??"
Me: "NO WAY!! We have enough chickens at home!"
Paige: "But dad said it was OK if you said it was OK...they have Cochins and Polishes!"
Me: "we can LOOK but that's IT we don't need anymore!"
Paige: "Ok mom! Just look......."

and this is what happened...... (Still don't know if we will keep all of them or not. We have enough Pet quality chickens here already! Plus I just put in a doz SQ Buff eggs I bought and had shipped! Good thing we have room for all of this madness!)

I was into polish a few years ago and had a really nice flock of WCB...but I sold them for larger birds. Held one female back as she was my sweetheart. Judge Judy-she's trouble year round ! haha I cut all her top notch off so she can see when she free ranges-otherwise she never makes it back to coop! We spent everynight last Summer hunting her down at dusk-down by the pond, on the wood piles, under cars, etc...My heart couldnt take it anymore so I shaved her head! ( trimmed heavily) and havent lost her since.
