This is my Polish pullet Ugg. She has severe scissorbeak but is still getting by. I adore her!

Hi everyone,

My bantam salmon faverolle has gone broody once again and I'm looking for some fertile Bantam Polish eggs for her. Maybe 5 or 6? I'm in Oregon and haven't had much luck finding eggs near me. I did post on the Oregon thread as well. Anyway, I thought I would put the word out here too.
So if someone has any eggs for sale please let me know.
Thanks much!

What colors are you looking for? I have finished hatching. I have eggs but have mixed colors: WC Black, Chocolate, Khaki, Blue and Splash and Cuckoo all in one pen- so you might get non-standard colors- like a blue cuckoo or platinum or even a curly. My website is www.swpoultry.com

I do like all those colors except maybe Black and a non-standard color is fine as well. As long as they are bantams I would be interested in your eggs. If you have 5 or 6 eggs available, can you let me know your prices? It's great that you are in WA so they wouldn't have to be shipped too far.
Thank you,
Dawn

Here is a little story for your pleasure.
I have a beautiful SL Polish cockerel. He decided one day to sneak and have a little romantic trist with my black sumatra. It was a few days before I had time to catch him up and put him where he is SUPPOSE to be. Well...4 days later little Ms Mo the sumatra goes broody. (Don't tell me this was not carefully planned) She kicked one egg out that was not good leaving 2. One hatched out 3 days ago. Cute cute little black vaulted chick. Last evening she was off nest but I did not think much...figured she was eating..etc. This afternoon I went in and still not on the nest..walking spradle legged trying to keep chick covered. Of course the chick was not too cooperative.

I went over to feel of eggs and they where stone cold.

I knew it was a long shot but I ran in and candled them...one was bad and the other no movement. I stuck it in the incubator anyway..waited 30 minutes...took it out and candled it. First thing I saw was a little beak poking up inside and a little peeping sound. So..back to the incubator and an hour later it pipped. So..not doing the waiting game til it hatches. The thing that confuses me is that for 3 hatches I had problems getting a good percentage hatched. I have learned what most of the problem was now but....here this egg sits for almost 24 hrs....cold...not much humidity...and it tries to hatch!!! Maybe I should neglect mine more..

Go figure!
