I'm not skilled on sexing chicks yet but they sure are cuties!

Darling babies!

I agree. I think that the red and the buff laced are both roosters and the gold laced is a pullet

Your gold laced looks a little under the weather. I would suggest adding some GQF Vitamins plus powder to their water. It works fast! My rooster chick was acting sluggish and not eating well and I noticed he felt lighter weight than the other 3. Just one day of vitamin water got him super spunky, and eating enthusiastically again

I blame the medicated feed, so they are on Purina Flock Raiser now. It is what I feed all my chickens since I always am growing out youngsters mixed in with the adult birds.

The same questionable pullet is in the picture 2nd from last, far back, standing more upright.

I thought so..... but no good "head on" pics to see the feather shape/ crest shape from front......... and given the age.....

if you can get a head on shot post it up- otherwise in a couple weeks you should have a better idea

Here is a frontal picture of the questionable chick (on the right in the picture.) Do pullets also have the V comb? because I saw one on this chick before the feathers came in heavier and covered it.

I have never used poly-vi-sol. I like the GQF Vitamins Plus because one teaspoon to a gallon of water goes a long way. I give it to all my chickens once in awhile to help keep them healthy

Yes, poly-vi-sol will work. Two drops right into the mouth. Also, feed some scrambled eggs to get more protein into him/her.

The one on the right looks roo-ish to me. The feathers are pointy on the ends, instead of rounded like a pullet would be. Also, the V-comb is most noticable on the Buff Laced birds. My roo has a small one, but none of my girls do. None of my other Polish have them at all, which is preferred in showing.

I am leaning towards a rooster now after seeing a comb. I actually like him better than my obvious rooster that is too solid red looking.
