Polish Thread!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does anyone know what kind of bird this is? I got it and its five siblings as pullets. They are about 16-18 weeks old now. They were sold to me as polish, but from everything that I have seen, they don't look like it to me. It does have a little afro and kind of a beard, and a spiky-funny shaped comb on top of its head. I think this one is a rooster, but am not certain. They don't have tail feathers yet because they were killing each other in the previous owners pen. The pen was too small and they had ripped all of the feathers out of their necks and backsides before we could rescue them. The feathers are coming back a little now, but they still don't have much of a tail. Any ideas?? Thank you! :)

I have 10 polish cross hens and they are the biggest bunch of a**hole chickens ever! They attack all my other birds, killed a whole brood of chicks who were mere 2 weeks younger than them, (one incident involved stripping a baby chick's legs of all its skin and muscle... while it was ALIVE) and they fly around constantly, I'm assuming because its easier to attack things...

I was so excited when I brought these guys home, because they are crossed with other breeds, they dont have the full crest, instead they have little 50s greaser pompadours. Unfortunately the cool hairdo doesnt make up for their vicious murderous ways!

I'm so sorry how sad. My hen does not like my dad or dogs!

I just love that frizzle look. My first chicken ever I rescued from a burning hot sidewalk on one of the hottest days of the year in SF bay area. He is gone now but every time I get a frizzle baby I think...Chickie's genes live on and does he. Ive waited for over five years to finally get a faverolle frizzle. I now have a few with that fifth toe and fuzzy face (she is pic 2 sorry so blurry). Its been well worth the wait!

Amazing the change in my Georgette in 14 days. Those awkward teenage years. She is a love bug though. :D
