Yes, I have had a couple sweethearts in other breeds too but the crested/bearded/muffed/tufted/feather-footed breeds are all 99% GUARANTEED sweetness genes!

I believe that the white one is a Porcelain D'Uccle note the feathered feet and absent crest. Can you post a picture of it's back, I can positively I.D. then.

Hi, I am new on BYC and have been looking for polish thread and now I have found it. I'm in UK and have 17 polish at the moment various colours and some frizzle. All have been home incubated and reared in my garden. Have to say these are my first polish chickens and I have found them to be absolutely fab birds can't say bad word about them.![]()

OHHHhhh but the 1% that aren't can be the very definition of a Roosifer!!! I have a question about the white crested black has any body found them to be a bit more skittish/scary cats than the others, they are the only ones that I have found more difficult to tame. Also they are more vocal than my others in that hatch which are chamois and gold crested with white splash crest. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.![]()
