Our polish is insane handsome, the light caught him jest right yesterday.

He will be to top rooster in our flock now with Butterscotch rehomed, took him just 2 weeks to get his crow
tuned up...LOL
he is 19 weeks and a couple of days old.

bought as a white crested black, we had to move him out from the girls he been with from a chick
they loved to groom his flowing locks...ALOT... so we're awaiting the white feathering to grow back in.
He gets a little high protein treat 1X a week.

She's the brown/dk gray partridge. Would ya think it's tame the skiddy in the polish to breed with a calmer silkie???

Here's my SL, Padme, at a little over 4 months.

Wow, she's gorgeous! I love the silver laced, but for some reason it was not in the cards. I made 3 separate hatchery orders this summer, & twice mine 'didn't hatch' that I had prepaid for, the 3rd time too many other breeds were available that I had been dying to try, so I had to go without my elusive SL once again...*sigh*...

Thanks!, she's from MyPetChicken. I think they use Meyer hatchery stock. This spring was the first time I've used MPC and got 4 fancy breeds. I am really happy with the quality of all the birds. I'm sure they're not show quality but they all have great color and really nice posture.

Thanks!, she's from MyPetChicken. I think they use Meyer hatchery stock. This spring was the first time I've used MPC and got 4 fancy breeds. I am really happy with the quality of all the birds. I'm sure they're not show quality but they all have great color and really nice posture.

All 3 of my girls are from mypetchicken, which I do believe sells Meyer stock in addition to a few of their own birds. I love them so much! I know they wouldn't do well in a show & as I have no breeding intentions I just get to sit back & enjoy their quirky sweet personalities without obsessing over minute physical flaws. They add so much to our lives!
