You should nick name him Philip Diller!
I thought so for all but didn't have any experience with that color type. I have a few WCB that I have show they did good but I'm new at showing. My Goldlaced got points off for having muddled lacing so I figured it would be the same for the buff laced in question. Thanks for the clarification. I love my pure colors but mixes are awesome too. He's a handsome guy but in case if you're curious, the reason why is that Polish are judged like any other breed according to their breed standard, which includes color as well as bodily form and shape. His color is unrecognized (or a disqualification if not serious point deduction for White Crested Black) - If he were a recognized color he'd be solid black on the body, no gold or reddish coloration, and his crest would be mostly white with, as he does have, a little bit of black. As for the rest of his body it's hard to say in that photo. He might have a squirrel tail, which is a DQ. (tail held straight up or over the back) He might also be too small, which is actually very common for most Polish not from show lines. He's still a handsome pet though! I breed Polish towards the standard but I'll be the first to admit that only a few of my birds are show worthy, and right now that doesn't bother me.It's a WIP flock.![]()
Polishmom1744 - Yes, ALL Polish are judged on their color, it's part of the process and part of the Standard of Perfection for them. If he lacing is only partial, or there's smudged white in places, or she's got spangling in places instead of lacing, that's point loss. An ideal laced bird of any color (gold, silver, buff) is a nice fine full lacing on every single feather. She's still a beauty though! Body wise she actually looks pretty nice, Good tail, body, crest, beard, etc. Her weight is a thing of question as stated earlier in my post though. Most Polish I run across, and I've had a lot of hatchery birds, are underweight. Believe it or not, but hatchery stock Polish (most of them out there) are too small to be shown.
On a finishing note, he's some photos of my Polish. Note - NONE of the birds pictured can be shown, in case anyone is curious and hasn't noticed.![]()
One of my random mix-colored cockerels. Technically he's a White Crested Mottled. His crest is still growing out, so all the sheathed feathers up top are weighing everything down, and thus he's kind of wearing a giant wet mop.
One of the few photos of my run-around Tolbunt kiddos. Not the greatest photo but among the best shots I could get for now.

I know this is a slim chance but, would anyone here have an BBS large fowl polish hatching eggs for sale. I would like to get a couple of more hens to go with the pair i have, but on ebay it just seems like the crele and tolbunts. Just message me with your price and some pictures of you stock so I can get an example of the quality you have. Looking for about 12-18 eggs. Thanks.
And here is a picture of the hen I have:
