Polish Thread!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know it seems like a long ways away but would anyone have frizzled buff, silver laced and/or tolbunt hatching eggs for sale this coming spring?
I might have smooth and frizzle tolbunt. I'm waiting to see how nicely our roos grow out. I have two beautiful hens, but the boys are a bit iffy yet.

Our polish girl, Pollyanna. ♡

pretty! i have one that looks like that and based on what i am reading is that one of the ways to tell the difference is by the feathers on their heads.

males have thinner flappy type and female are rounder and puffier. am i about right?

Thank you. From what I understand, that's about right. She's the only Polish we have so I've just had to look a lot up. Don't really know much first hand.

Our Polish are my favorite birds, while hubby prefers our Jersey Giants. I love how the Polish follow me around, babbling the entire time.

yep. i have these guys with my silkies and they always come over like "hi! whatcha doing!? let us tell you a story."
and i saw one eat a mouse yesterday!!! eww.

my silkie used to chase mice. It was so funny!

I never thought that they could do it but we were cleaning out a shed and disturbed a mouse nest so mama and the babies ran off. then about half an hour later two polish guys are arguing over something and picking on it like they found a worm but then one of them throws a little mouse up in the air and just swallows it. pretty crazy.

my cat found one of the babies too. played with it for a minute and then let it go. oh cats.... why do we love them?
