Polish Thread!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You need more eggs, really you do.

Hubby noticed 12 chicks in a bin with a SOLD sign on them.  When he asked about it I did not lie.  I said they were paid for, and the woman just couldn't take them home yet. Both things are true, I'm not ready to admit to him that they are mine.  ;)

Ordered 150 chicks and 35 ducks just now.  Yeeks!

What I need is another bator...hehehe..as soon as I think of a good reason to buy a 3rd in a months time..I keep telling him it will all pay off in the end..lol.. I'm just hoping he forgets me saying that come next year when he's dazzled by all the gorgeous birds running around our farm ;)
Tell your husband in a week or so that this crazy lady from WV called and bought the birds and then decided to back out of the road trip to cone get them..really you're saving the poor things from an irresponsible owner..

Please forgive me because it's not a Polish, but with this guys head I had to share.. ♡♡

Search "tolbunt chicks" or "tolbunt eggs" (**edited to add: search here, on BYC) and it should bring up a couple classifieds. If they're old or closed just PM the OP and ask..that's how I found the lady I ordered GL/Tolbunt splits from..

What kind of Polish do you have? Do you have any roosters?
Right now I have 1 GL hen, 3 SL hens and 2 Tolbunt hens. I just added 2 GL chicks and 2 Buff laced chicks. I'm hoping I chose pullets. We no longer have Polish roos. My SL roo was stunning, but he never, ever shut up. The neighbor didn't care, but I sure did. That coop is about 25 feet from the house. I did keep a Polish cross roo, he's a great rooster.

I ordered my first ones from ebay and have a stunning hen from that hatch. My second batch was from a BYC member and I didn't do well with those at all. I have one hen from that hatch, I won't breed her, she's washed out looking.

Ok thanks for the info! I can't hatch any eggs as I don't have an incubator so I would prefer to order chicks if I can. Your birds are very beautiful!!
