Yeah. 2 1/2 months three of hisr brothers are already crowing

I'm 80% it's a pullet

No, just a regular crested polish with flat feathers. I will keep up with cleaning and putting ointment on it for sure! is that all that needs to be done at this point?

For now yes that's what I would do and keep an eye on it.

I just brought home 2 sweet polish babies about 10 weeks old each! The seller said he is 95% sure one is a girl and 90% sure the other is a girl! I will post pics in awhile. They are so pretty and sweet!

I want to get the feathers out of their eyes a bit. Is trimming the best way to do this? Thanks!

These are my two babies from crackle hatchery, white crested blue polish. They are the funniest and assertive, number 1 and 2 in pecking order of four. Just don't know if they are male/female... Any thoughts? Or too soon, they are 6 weeks old.

It turns out that there were two feathers growing out of one follicle... it got swollen but not infected. I think I caught it in time. I've been carefully washing the area with warm soapy water and thoroughly drying him/her before adding a dab of ointment.

I just hatched my first polish. Blue, splash and WC black eggs. In the same incubator as some Icelandic eggs which was a bad idea. I can't tell them apart!. The two WC black chicks have prominent poofs, but none of the others do. Some look about the right size and are whitish to blueish in colour, but minimal poofs. I can't tell if I have mostly Icelandic and two WC polish, really hoping some of the others are polish with tiny poofs.
Do some polish chicks get their poofs later?

My 2 Polish babies Goldie and Izzy! Can anyone tell me if they are both girls? They are about 10 weeks old. I also want to get the feathers out of their eyes and is it best to use painters tape as someone said or trim with scissors? Goldie had a bit of congestion so I brought them both into the house last night rather then leave them in a damp coop. Also on antibiotics for 10 days during isolation from the flock of 4! If the sunshines today I will put them back outside in their coop. They are adorable.
