Polish Thread!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mine have not laid since before the big hurricane hit us back in Oct. So I am patiently waiting for those white eggs!!

Hello there stranger! It's great to see you :woot

Oh no a hurricane :( Did you get hit hard? I hope you get some soon from your polish, I got my first one today at long last after their molt and the shorter days.

Hello, I'm looking for people located in Texas or a close state; anyone like that here?

Sorry I'm a bit far away and across the pond in the UK.

We ended up having a tornado tear through the island. We also lost a friend of ours. He was crushed by a huge pine tree. That was the hardest thing for us. :( We are starting to move on slowly.

I am glad I moved everyone into the garage into cages on the work bench. The wind tore through here pretty badly. We got lucky and didnt lose any trees but our neighbors sure did.

My layer girls just started laying about 2 weeks ago...so we are finally getting fresh eggs to eat. One of my AC hens just started laying 2 days ago....I am stashing her eggs to throw into the incubator. And nothing on my SLP.

Oh no that's terrible and sorry to hear you lost a friend, that sure is very sad :hugs

Good to hear you have fresh again :D Hope you have a good hatch when you get the incubator fired up again. I thought today about buying some eggs to set as the hens I have in with the Tolbunt cockerel are not laying yet. The amber hybrid is laying that's in with him but anything that hatched from those eggs would certainly be weird!!

Split for Tolbunt? I'm not quite sure what you are meaning? She looks to just to have just the odd white feather in her crest which can sometimes happen with the gold lace especially as they age. Some of mine have developed more odd white feathers as they have got older. I'm afraid if you were thinking of showing her this would be an undesirable trait.
