Usually with my chicks the loud ones are hens and quiet are the roosters
I'm selling some of my chicks if anyone is interested email me

I have a breeding question. Is it completely frowned upon to mix different types of Polish? I have three 2 week old chicks, and it appears I have a male buff laced and female buff laced and a female white crested black. I have an EE rooster and plan on keeping another rooster, don't know which yet, because I have quite a few different straight run rare breeds from the hatchery. I have a total of 37 chickens. My plan is to hatch about a dozen or so eggs every 6 months and process the males and sell the extra females as started pullets. I may also sell straight run chicks. It depends on the demand. Anyway, I will, of course, let people know they are mixed breeds.

They are your birds. Experiment with them to find what works for you best. I wouldn't count on getting much meat from Polish though. They are ornamental and not considered a meat bird.
