Polish Thread!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These are my two babies from crackle hatchery, white crested blue polish. They are the funniest and assertive, number 1 and 2 in pecking order of four. Just don't know if they are male/female... Any thoughts? Or too soon, they are 6 weeks old.

Question directed at all the polish owners, you guys ever have one that purrs like a kitten? No joke, Funniest thing I seen far as a chicken in awhile! Just cuddles up&makes like a low purring sound-cracks us up.

One of our laced polish has been a mess last two weeks. Had a more experienced neighbor take a look. Seems it's one hip,is out of socket. Kinda frustrating there's no vet I can pay to fix it, makes me crazy sometimes. So used card board with vet tape to brace&reposition it after (I think) it went back into, place (10plus years of sports massage/cmt) hopefully now tendons will heal&it will be able to stand on both feet. Remind me for pics tomorrow (east coast USA time) if anyone's interested.

Aww no vets nearby that see chickens? Luckily I live in the sticks so we have alot of livestock vets but I know in some places they are hard to come by.

I hope at least one is female but either way we love our chicks. Actually just noticed that iggy is starting to grow some waddles as well. They will be 7 weeks on monday.

I also had hoped for girls but out of 3 I got 2 roos and only one hen. I plan on putting them in with some silkies here eventually..
