I call them "Screamers!" They literally scream at you for attention or to be let out in the garden

Could anyone tell me if they think this white crested black polish chick is a cockerel. It is five weeks old today and the crest feathers look much different than our white crested blue polish chick which I think is a Pullet. I am a first time chicken parent, so thank you for any advice.
