Polish Thread!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It will be ok even if you have to separate them(oh but please I beg no isolation,..,it's not good for any critter to be all alone for too long)
the first set of chicks are 8 weeks and the new chicks are about 4 weeks. The 4 week old chicks have been in a big dog create in the chicken run for a week hoping if they seen each that would help. All the chicks are in coop tonight and hopefully it there will not be any deaths in morning.

I always set my alarm for sunset to make sure my smaller chicks aren't being hurt for the first week or 2. It takes Adleast that long for the pecking order to be established. Also make sure you are giving the new ones water and food in front of you every day. The older dominant ones can sometimes prevent them from eating and drinking by guarding the food and water dishes..

Good news.... my two buff laced polish that were fighting have come to an agreement. As long as Star understands that Ringo is his superior they get along. Capt. Jack, a white leghorn, is Ringo's boss. I'm so glad they're getting it worked out and no one is getting hurt.

They were all good this morning. Been counting down to get off work to check on them.
