do polish have Ameraucana in their genes when the breed was developed? is that why they have beards?
i will google it, just thought i would ask here.

I googled my Q about bearded polish... and cant find any info oh where the beard came from. curious?

I'm not sure where it came from. Mine do not have beards. We keep the white crested blacks which don't have beards...

Are they REALLY all friendly?
I went into the coop to fix the cooling misters, I stepped on this kid because she was right under my feet. Lol.
I need a few more like this.
I picked her up and she went to sleep.

I would say they are like any other chicken. Their are good ones and the occasional bad apple. Out of all the ones we have had, we only had one rooster get aggressive. His brother is sweet as pie and all the girls are very loving.

Does you guy have problems with eye moisture? Mine had long feathers like that and it started getting moist around his eye. I started trimming his hair which I suppose is good. He walked into things also lol. But I would love am alternative...
