They're getting so big already- 5 weeks old now.
My buffs one is still hard to tell if male or female, and also not photogenic at all- she thinks my camera is really cool and is always tilting her head around and pecking at it

He's cute, are you keeping him? I'm not really sure what to do if any of mine are male, I'll likely have to rehome but am worried they'd end up as someone's dinner. Do people eat polish chickens?

I had a silver laced polish that ended up being a Roo. He was gorgeous. I got on a thread dedicated to the area I live in and asked if anyone would want to have him. I had a few people interested and I was in the middle of making concrete plans. He ended up giving himself a concussion and we unfortunately had to put him down.
I am curious to what people do with their polish roo's if they can't find a new home.

I recomend looking to 4H and FFA groups in the area if you wish to rehome, roosters do exceptionally well in fair, ad people who kgenerally know what they are doing when it comes to bird shows love roosters. Big, flashy, handsome, who doesnt want to show off their cock...erel.

I have two buff laced polish hens named Aristotle and Party Charlie. I planned on showing the two for 4-H, but unfortunately Aristotle got an infection on her foot and really frost bitten toes so now she's probably going to lose all three of her toes on one foot

. Because of her infection I had to take her to the vet and they prescribed antibiotics and pain killers. She's almost done with her medication and is recovering well and now that the weather has warmed up I've been taking her out side to see all of her other chicken friends which she's enjoyed

. Anyways that's my polish chicken story.
