What is up with the political ads now on the home page?? Seems a tad hypicritical that we can't get into political conversations, but now are having politics shoved down our throats with banner ads? Frankly, I find it digusting, especially seeing who the ad is bashing! Being from Missouri, and knowing Jo Ann Emerson as a proven worker of her people for years, it's sad to see the ads for Tommy Sowers. I come on the BYC to get AWAY from all the noise and clutter of everyday life and media junk, then to see this? I realize it's, hopefully, a paying sponser, but come on. Leave the political mudslinging to the media where we can turn it off! I'm sick of it all already, and sure don't want to see it in here. JMHO
 
Maybe it's tailored to where you are. I have seen no political adds.

But I'd love to post a few...

Gees, lucky me! lol. Must be targeted for us Missourians, but it sure has raised my hackles.

BYC is not hypocritical. We stand by and enforce our rules.

We do not control the google ads, but if you can provide a screen shot, we can look into it.

How do I get a screen shot? Do I take a pic of the home page and upload the pic? Thanks.
 
Went back to the Home Page and now an Eggbeater ad was there. Opened another tab, and the political ad was back.

I don't look at the home page at all anymore, so I had to go there. I have an ad for Chevy.

The link I use as a bookmark is the login page, so I no longer have to click from page to page.

As Terrie said, BYC has no control over what Google puts up. To get a screen shot, look for a button on your keyboard, Prt Scr, usually on the right at the top. Puch that. Then go to Programs, Accessories, Paint. Pull down the edit menu and choose save. Mine saves in My Pictures, Then upload the image and PM it to a moderator or admin.
