I think portion control will be more successful that any crazy "eat thin, not that" diet.

Oh come on, no bologna on white bread as a kid? We were so poor many lunches were brown sugar and butter sandwiches. LOL!
Oohhh!!! Brown sugar and butter!! We had that too....on one slice of bread. With a splash of nutmeg or cinnamon.
As for bologna. I never could eat it. We'd get that cheapy, mottled looking "ham" that was the same price as the bologna, since my mom could get us to eat that.

Did you know that Staters carries the sandwich rolls in the sweet Hawaiian bread??? At the deli counter. 6 inches. YUM! Perfect with honey roasted turkey and mayo. Add avocado and a splash of mustard and I am good to go!

Yep! And you can order any Stater Bros sandwich on that roll too! DH says it is a healthy lunch because it has veggies on it. I think it is just because he wants an excuse to eat the bread.
Great bread for french toast too! And garlic toast to go with the pasta!
Well, frankly, I can just east the loaf as is....who needs anything else!
mmmm....Coffee ice cream. That person was a genius!
