Polka dot feet

Just wondering, have breed my white silkie rooster with a white leghorn hen, with resulting kids have faint orange barring. I’m confused by that, but my main question is about their feet. Has anybody had spotted feet like this? The resulting babies have both white w/ spots and yellow w/ spots for feet. And some have a few dots, whereas this on has plenty

My black frizzle cochin has feet similar. My naked neck cockrl last year also had them but blue instead of black polka dots

Well I have two white silkie roosters, but none other than that! That’s why I’m confused, i also had a small black hen, a Rhode Island Red, and a mixed little hen, so it’s confusing!

The black spots are caused by melanin in the epidermis. It’s happens often. If your Silkie rooster is recessive white, it’s possible that the dominant white of the Leghorn is “disrupting” the melanin in the epidermis and causing it not to be expressed.
