I'm legal. Only real rule here in the middle of nowhere are setbacks for buildings. Even if they were illegal, we have no actual law enforcement to deal with...

Speed limits? What speed limits?

LOL you do have that one lonely State Trooper that buzzes up and down 89 near the flats in Williston.. not to mention in VT you need a lift kit and 4 wheel drive to go down most "roads"...

Even at that, the "statees" (what they are called can't figure out proper spelling) don't come around our town unless they are called for an emergency. Better expect a few hours for an ETA.

Sorry hijack over...

Somewhat legal. I'm under my limit, can get 3 more

However, I am not legal when it comes to keeping them 20ft away from dwellings...but I don't think my neighbor will complain, she's awesome....without being bribed with eggs, lol.
I'm also not legal when it comes to keeping them in a pen, 1/2 the day that is

half and half. I have a special permit for 12. I have 2 turkeys and 19 chickens 3 of which are roosters I am not supposed to have at all.( gOt to make dinner out of the two mean roos) ErinM

I'm an outlaw.

... and I almost succumbed to further temptation last night... that MPC rainbow thing was sooooooo tempting.

Up until yesterday I thought I was an outlaw ( I live one mile from city hall )

I learned yesterday that not only am i legal But I can have up to 12. I see more chickens in my future.

Apparantly in my city chickens are not considered farm animals and they are not considered pets. go figure

They are considered a hobby and I am allowed 12.

I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY
