Totally and complete chicken OUTLAW here in beautiful downtown Orlando. Neighbors are cool so I think I'm safe....But the thought the city could make me get rid of my 2 sweet, sweet girls is just terrifying. I want to try and get the laws changed. Any other Orlando chicken folks here??

We just got our first 2 chickens today! Yea!

We live in a HOA surrounded by farms in the middle of nowhere. Our HOA rules and regs state that no barnyard animal or livestock of any description other than domestic household pets shall be owned pursuant to our county zoning ordinance. I looked up the zoning ordinace referenced and it says nothing about animals except that there must be 1 horse to every acre. So, I am pretty sure we are illegal, but I think I could probably fight that if we were turned in. Our backyard is a cow pasture for crying out loud. Let me have my 2 chickens!!
