poll: are you legal or an outlaw?

I'm not sure if I'm legal or not. I DID ask the township for permission to keep my "girls", but I think the rules of my development say "no farm animals". I live between two towns in a development COMPLETELY surrounded by farmland. It's like an island development. Anyway, I asked my bordering neighbors before I got them. They LOVE my girls! I only wish I could have a roo, but I don't want to push my luck

I must be legal but not sure and don't care. In my opinion, constitutionally, the government has no right to tell me I can't have chickens. It is for my Life, Liberty and Pursuit of happiness. It is my unalienable right.

I'm mostly legal. My town passed a 4-hens-only law last year, but there are 5 of us in my family.​

I know my post sounded extreme, but every day they pass some law taking away yet another freedom to do something. It's getting worse and it has to stop or we will soon be able to do nothing. I refuse to give up any more freedom without a fight. I was supposed to pay $50 to get a permit to build a chicken coop. Does that sound reasonable? Not to me.

Legal with about 36 acres for them to roam. I can raise as many
as I can afford to keep up with. Best thing is no neighbors too close by.
