Chicken pot pie uses a biscuit crust. It's also not a dessert. Idk if the OP made a clarification about pie as far as that but as far as I go: if it's for dinner, it aint pie. If its for dessert, its pieYeah, why wasn't chicken pot pie a choice?That would have made selection easier!
We don't use biscuit crust for chicken pot pie, we use good ol' flaky pie crust. Thus why I also vote that one as I way prefer savory pies.

Sourdough biscuit crust on chicken pot pie is where it’s at.
I make mine by cutting butter into flour and salt much like you would do with shortening in a pie. It ends but like a nice flaky biscuit crust. Ive seen some people even use the pillsbury biscuit containers for a crust as well. But they switched to GMO recently so I haven't been buying their products
