I'd have to say I lean toward the natural is better side.
No woman on earth is going to put on make up every morning for her entire life, so I'd rather know I'm comfortable with the way she looks without it.

A little tastefuly done make up is fine, it accentuates the natural beauty already there, but no man likes clown make up Ala Tammy Faye Baker style.
