POLL: How much do you pay for a 50# bag of feed???

I pay 14 dollars for medicated regular (non organic) chick starter.
The layer feed is 11 dollars. (also non-organic).

Unfortunately I have yet to find an organic feed distributor anywhere within an hour to hour and a half drive from me (which would shoot up the price to almost 20 dollars in gas anyhow) and the only organic feed places that deliver would end up costing me nearly 75 dollars for 50 lbs including the shipping fees.

It's pretty frustrating, but for now we are going with the 11 dollar bag when they start laying.

Does anyone know where I can buy organic feed anywhere around Philadelphia, PA?? I would so appreciate the info.

I paid $8 for a 50# bag of Kruse chick starter, $11-13 for Kruse lay mash. It is not organic but from a local So. California company. I let my chickens free range which is organic so I hope it balances out. My girls are laying nice big healthy eggs, some of which have two yolks, this week some laid two eggs a day!
