Poll: How often do you check on your chickens in the heat?

My wife is out in the coops several times a day, cleaning out water bowls and adding fresh, collecting eggs and generally making sure they are well taken care of.
We free range our main flock 4-5 days a week

I check on mine just about every night, so I guess bare minimum.

Okay, you can laugh. I do a head count every night, as they free range daily. As I have 30 (too many but 21 are young) in our large coop and the way they are moving around, I had to recount 4 times tonight! Twice one managed to get into the garden, under the fence and couldn't find her way out at dusk.

BTW, the opening in the fence is fixed.
