Oh boy. You said a bad word. The A one.

ARUGULA! Lol, I must admit, I actually use the word arugula as sort of a bad word. I'm not sure when, but "ARRG!" turned into "ARUGULA!". I don't think arugula is bad, though.

Do you not think it is spicy? It IS spicy. But just like lettuce, I think the spiciness is determined by the temperature it is grown at or amount of water it receives. I had some arugula that came back a couple years, and let me tell you, it was spicy! The stuff I get at the store has just about no identifiable spice, though.

I think for it to be good, it's got to have a peppery flavor to it. But spicy is relative to who you ask. My grandmother and my husband eat fresh jalapenos and habanero hot sauce on all of their meals and neither of them care for my Arugula.

Well, it has some sort of pepper/spice to it. There isn't a perfect word to describe it... arugula-y. Raw jalapenos are REALLY spicy! They just overpower all other flavors, I think the only thing raw peppers are good for is dares! Ha, but they're fun.

Not really. It has a different texture and flavor.

Growing up my brother and I both thought we didn’t like salad dressing. When we got older we realized we just don’t like ranch (ie the one dressing people always give kids and expect them to like). Vinaigrettes are where it is at

The white stuff is sucralose but sugar can be used. You know what the off white stuff is.

I believe that is the word that Midge used, some say peppery. I say it is the most vile and disgusting taste I have ever had in my mouth. It is even worse that that soap plant people call cilantro.

I have exactly this in my fridge right now. But I add ground hot pepper because everything here must be spicy.
